In the final part of the Throwback Trilogy the Doctor
comes face to face with a face he thought he'd faced for the final time.
Monarch lives. The evil ruler of the Urbankan people cloned himself to
ensure he would live forever (as all good gods do). With the help of the
corrupt City Administrator and the equally corrupt President Dent, Monarch
finally has the minerals he needs to go back in time to the birth of the
universe.
Can the Doctor prevent all of creation being fashioned
in Monarch's image?
With a multi-galactic corporation, an entire planet and
a would-be deity against him, is this really the end for the Doctor?
It's time to pump up his basketball sneakers and get to
work.
The
Throwback Trilogy gives fans a chance to re-embrace elements from the
shows past which have an unfairly poor reputation.
Peter Purves was delighted to fill the late Stratford
John's shoes, saying "He had bloody good taste in shoes. Noaksie will be
bloody green when I show him these." |
