The Doctor and his companion Gerry arrive at the universes largest furniture superstore and find that everything is nice and comfy. The music is pleasant, the café sells a jolly good cup of tea and the settees are out of this world. Literally! But when the Doctor recognises that Linda the sales assistant is really his old enemy The Rani, all heck is sure to break loose. For the Rani has a fiendish scheme to swap all the cushions in the entire store around so every single suite will be mismatched. But is that the real danger or does the mysterious customer Tem Haster have a more sinister plan in mind? Will the self-assembly furniture department survive or will the nuts end up scattered all over time and space? Time is running out and the Doctor must choose between the universe and another macaroon…
