Blonde Woman Sues Own Hair After
"Stupid" Remark
An American woman is trying to make legal history this week by suing
her own hair. Angora DeMontforde of Toffee, California claims that she had
a successful career as a successful career woman until a colleague of hers
made a remark about dumb blondes. Ms DeMontforde - herself a blonde for
many years - says this jibe cost her her job, her home and her self
respect.
"That
he would think something like this about me purely because of my hair is
deeply wounding" said Ms DeMontforde on the popular Jerry Winfrey Show. "I
realised that my own hair had betrayed me and I had no alternative but to
take legal action."
Ms DeMontforde was asked why she hadn't sued the man who made the
remark and she replied "I like him - he's cute".
"This matter makes a mockery of the US Judicial System" said Herman
Floss, attorney for Ms DeMontforde's hair. "My client is not legally
culpable owing to it being non-sentient. I am confident that a jury would
find in my client's favour."
He later added "It doesn't hurt that my client is, de facto, present at
all the prosecution's conferences and so I will be forewarned of any
surprises they may be planning for court."
We asked Ms DeMontforde why she didn't dye her hair a different colour
and she replied "Like, duh, it looks so cute, dumbass."
The case continues.
