Episode Nineteen

3rd January 1979

There's plenty of trouble in store for the commune when an unwelcome figure from Jimmy's past arrives as a guest, valuables are stolen and sexy, flirty female guest Deborah Swaffham lands the male staff members into all sorts of problems...

"...I didn't gurgle where I am todurgle without recognising a murgle that looks like snow when I see one"

"...by playing mothers and fathers"

C.J. states that "I'm not a man to spoil the ship for a ha'porth of spilt milk".

Perrins is described as a commune for the middle aged and middle classed in what was Middlesex. There are 22 new arrivals in the morning after Reggie's TV appearance on Pillock Talk - Clive "Lofty" Anstruther is one of them. Jimmy is to set up an anti-vandalism group, complete with T-shirts proclaiming "Perrins Peace Keeping Force". Tom's latest idea is solo tennis. Reggie says that the community is built on faith and trust.

"...derailed rolling sturgle at Wimbledurgle".

There's a "Super!" from David and Prue and a "Knockout!" from Tony when Reggie reveals that the world is wending its way through the door. When C.J. comes up with the ridiculous idea of ending words with "Urgle", David responds with "Super Urgle!" and Tony with "Knockout Urgle!". David comes up with various Supers while explaining the sex session. Tony exclaims "Knockout!" after kissing Deborah Swaffham and remarks to her that "Food is Dullesville, Arizona". Later though, he points out that she is "Bad News City, Arizona". David exclaims "Thank you very much - super!" three times when Deborah comes on to him.

"...food person"

"...character front" (regarding Jimmy's former friendship with Lofty).

Reggie appears on Pillock Talk (see Episode 14) and still can't get over Colin Pillock's name. Pillock refers to Reggie as the former head of the amazing Grot Shop chain. Reggie refers to the incident of Lofty stealing Jimmy's weapons and cash (see Episode 13). Lofty confirms that he was never in the Army. Prue has left David after she saw him going to Deborah Swaffham's bedroom and has gone back to her mother. When Reggie escapes from Deborah by climbing out through the bedroom window, he remarks to her that it's not the first time he's done this (see Episode 12).
