The first season shows Blake is very clearly winning his battle against the Federation. Although the Federation notch up two wins, Blake wins a massive nine of his battles. The full scores are:

And Avon wins one.

Blake and his crew notch up the most wins this season, but will this have an effect on Blake? Will he begin to buy into his own legend, and if so what effects might that have on him and his crew? We’ll find out as we begin Season 2.

Rather more worryingly, the deaths caused by either side are pretty high. It’s not easy to accurately count the amount of deaths, as the number of people killed by Blake when he destroys the base on Saurian Major or those killed by the Federation on Station XK72 are not stated. Deaths seen on screen though show that The Federation have caused almost double the amount of deaths than Blake and his crew:

But will this continue? Will the stakes become higher as the battle between the two ideologies intensifies?

It’s been noted elsewhere that the female characters were more often than not were left on The Liberator to operate the teleport and look concerned. The stats from season 1 don’t bear this out though, as Avon operates the teleport far more than any other character in the first season. The full results are:
