How it all started. Susan's milk had always
been funny. She didn't seem as stupid as the other cows, demonstrating an
understanding of quantum singularities and pointing out that the patterns
on her body were fractaline in nature. When two farmers followed her out
of the field one day, they opened the door to a world of adventure...

the Doctor is driven to experiment with a dangerous untried Cowmbination.
With a violent explosion, the TARDIS blacks out and the crew find
themselves trapped inside. A simple technical fault? Sabotage? Or could it
be... cows? Tension mounts as the Doctor and his companions start to
suspect one another.
What has happened to the TARDIS? Slowly a terrifying suspicion dawns. Has
the TARDIS become the prisoner of some powerful Cow intelligence which is
even now haunting the time-machine's dark and pat-infested cowrridors?

The Doctor and his Cowmpanions arrive in the
land of the past, where they face the vicious rituals of primitive man.
Barbara wants to use her new found powers of Delia to convince the natives
to stop eating beef raw and instead cook it up with a nice bit of spice
and two veg. But her beliefs could get them all killed in Doctor Who - The
Azsteaks! |

The TARDIS arrives in a lifeless cowshed. The
Doctor, Ian, Bullbara and Susan are shocked to find the bodies of the crew
slumped over their milkstations. Yet the crewmembers are far from dead
–they are under some form of mental attack that keeps them prisoners in
the West country.
The ship is trapped in orbit around the Cow-Sphere, home world of the
alien Hefferites. The Doctor and his Cowmpanions are warned to leave, but
before they can do so, the TARDIS is sabotaged, and its lock is kicked in.
Using Cow telepathy, the Hefferites have managed to keep the human
visitors from exploiting the grassy wealth of their world. Now the TARDIS
crewmembers also find themselves subject to the Hefferites and their
mental powers.
