Why he might be annoying

When he talks, he sounds like David Bellamy

He steadfastly refused to allow Tom Baker to appear in the Five Doctors

He invented the dismal phrase "an air of reckless innocence"

For thirty years, he has denied that him and Barry Letts are an item

Shakedown

Why he might not be annoying

He taught us all to read with his "easy on the brain" TARGET novelisations

He admits that the Doctor is a sexist and patronising old josser

He wrote this immortal couplet:

"Beware Doctor, I wear the coronet of Rassilon."

"Yes, and very fetching it is too."

He keeps the "eyepatch" story alive for future generations

He isn't Eric Saward

Some Comments From Voters

The man who could condense the most complicated plot down to 142 pages or flesh the flimsiest story out to 142 pages.

the man wrote the definitive description of materialisation.

Uncle Terrance is an icon.

I have had the pleasure of having a drink with him at a convention bar a dozen years ago!

Terrance is a role model to fatties everywhere
