In 1965 the BBC
commissioned a series from writer Peter R Newman. Impressed by his Doctor
Who scripts, the head of serials was keen to feature the further
adventures of Captain Maitland and his crew. Sadly, all recordings of the
series were destroyed shortly after broadcast (sometimes minutes after the
final credits had rolled) and all that remains are the spinoff novels by
Geoff Tepid. thevervoid.com is proud to announce an exclusive
serialisation of Tepid's novels which the Times Literary Supplement
described as "broader and deeper than the television series".
