In early 1981 a young actor by the name of Peter Davison was cast in the long running series "Doctor Who". He recorded the traditional "regeneration" scene which handed the mantle over from his predecessor "Tom Baker" and was ready to join production for real a few months later.

Unfortunately, during a mammoth twenty seven hour sexual marathon with his wife - the excitable "Sandra Dickinson" - Peter Davison passed away. The BBC panicked and ordered producer John "Nathan" Turner to find a lookalike replacement and to pretend to the outside world that nothing was amiss. Mr Nathan Turner was able to use his showbiz network to find a suitable doppelganger and work on the nineteenth "season" commenced shortly afterwards. However, Mr Nathan Turner and the rest of the production team were determined that the truth should out. Fearing for their lives, they could only make the subtlest hints as to the scandal that had taken place during the year that would, forever after, be known as nineteen eighty one.

Finally those hints, clues and subtle pointers have been gathered together into one place. This place. Over the next weeks, months and into the future I will endeavour to present you with the facts which will make the Paul McCartney Conspiracy look like a poster campaign from the Flat Earth Society.
