When Sycho Swede Publications decided they
wanted an episode by episode analysis of Doctor Who they knew there was
only one place to look. Britain's leading telehistorians - Dennis Brent
and Francois Devine - would bring gravitas to the task and give a unique
perspective on the series they know perhaps better than any other living
people. Over a glass or two of sherry the plan was laid out. Mr Brent
and Mr Devine agreed to watch every episode in order (in their separate
home entertainment suites) and give their thoughts via Instant Messenger
once the end credits have rolled. In exchange for a weekly fee, they
agreed not to be overly fascinating or technical in their analysis.
Without facts to fall back on they have no alternative but to consider
characters, plot and story themes if they want to avoid a nasty breach
of contract lawsuit. The result is "Walking Sensibly Through Corridors".
