Says - Logo Polish thinks he must have looked at this issue in a comic
mart or something similar, as he recalls the reviews of Dragonfire and
Wheel In Space, complete with its TARDIS rating out of five! Jonno
preferred the redesigned logo on the front cover, as it no longer covered
the whole width. He was excited at the news that the Daleks would be
returning. This was Rob McCow's first issue, and he was also excited to
see that the Daleks would be returning for the 25th season, as they always
made it scary to watch. He also liked the Dalek font used on the front
cover. He loved the comic strip, as he had been following Death's Head
since he left the Transformers comic, and particularly liked the artwork
on the letters page. As the first full story he saw, he thought that
Dragonfire was wonderful, and agreed with the reviewer! All in all, a very
exciting issue for him, although he missed a few issues after this one.
Andrew Curnow also preferred the new design of the logo, and liked the
photo of McCoy on the motorbike. He remembers being surprised at the
positive review of Dragonfire, as it stank as far as he's concerned! He
didn't like the comic strip, neither the story nor the artwork doing
anything for him, and felt that the comic strip began a lean period here.
Contrary to the review, he thought that Wheel In Space was a dull read,
with a messy cover. Si Hart agrees that the logo was great, and so much
better for being smaller. It's a nice issue that he is fond of, and always
remembers the GG headlines - Daleks Roll In, Davison Rolls Out! Jon
Masters agrees about the cover, and liked the Chris Clough interview, but
found the comic strip to be poor again. He likes the picture of Colin
Baker on the back cover.
