The
Basics - Issue 126, July 1987. The page count is reduced to 36 pages,
at the same price of £1. The front cover has a photo of the Second Doctor,
while the back cover pin up is of an Ice Warrior from their debut
adventure.
News And Views - GG confirms that with Chris Clough
directing the final six episodes as one entity, they will comprise two
distinct three part stories, and JNT has confirmed that none of the
stories will be linked in any way. BBC Video have put back the release
date for the next new video, which they hope will still be a Dalek one, to
August. Pyramids of Mars and The Seeds of Death are to be re-released on
the £9.99 range, joining Revenge of the Cybermen.

Boxpops - Space, a 14 hour US mini series, debuts
on ITV on 13th July. Star Cops debuts on BBC2 on 6th July. Top of the pop
charts in July 87 were It's A Sin by Pet Shop Boys and Who's That Girl by
Madonna.
Skaro Says - Andrew Curnow doesn't remember much
about this issue, except for the Patrick Troughton tribute by Frazer
Hines, which he found quite touching. The Seeds of Death was the first DW
video he ever bought. He watched the first episode of Star Cops, but found
it dull and didn't watch much of the rest of the series. Craig Rollins
agreed that it was very boring, and something of a turkey. Nathan Cooke
was unsure about the first episode, but was hooked after the next two
episodes. He is astonished that Chris Clough won Best Creative
Contribution. Jonno watched the first episode of Star Cops and almost fell
asleep - he didn't watch any more, and has no interest in seeing it again.
Who's That Girl is one of his favourite Madonna tracks. He is interested
to see with hindsight that Nature of the Beast was voted ahead of Voyager,
given that the latter is now a widely acclaimed comic strip. This issue
was the last one that Logo Polish bought for some time - he found the
Troughton tribute touching too.
