The ratings for the whole of Trial of a Time Lord are published. Death to the Daleks is now due on video in May, with Terror of the Zygons planned to follow. The Ark in Space, Spearhead From Space, The Time Warrior, The Dead Planet and The Mind Robber are all in the planning stage too. A letter writer suggests that Joanna Lumley would make a good Doctor...

Boxpops - ALF debuts on ITV on 25 April. Top of the pop charts in April 87 were Let It Be by Ferry Aid and La Isla Bonita by Madonna.

Skaro Says - Si Hart notes that this month's issue has a better cover, and liked the feature on Special Effects. Craig Rollins finds this an unmemorable issue, with even the Colin Baker interview being a reprint from The Sun. He hated ALF. Jonno never bothered with ALF, having never been too keen on comedy sci-fi. For him, we go from one of the worst covers to one of the best covers in the space of one month! Andrew Curnow remembers nothing about this issue, other than that the cover is a definite improvement on the previous issue. Jon Masters describes The Gift as one of the worst comic strips ever produced. He did enjoy the interview and the feature on Visual Effects.
