 Man Utd vs Watford - The Alternative Commentary Many websites now offer live play-by-play commentary on football matches. Some, like the BBC, are fairly straight laced and serious. Others, such as the Guardian's, are more jocular and invite readers to email their comments as the drama unfolds. But the one thing they all have in common are that they are written by and for football fans. On the evening of Saturday the 14th April 2007 a different group gathered across the globe to monitor a football match. Some were fans of Britain's Favorite Soccer TeamTM and some weren't. The thing that united them was a desire that the match, if it had to be played at all, should be over as quickly as possible because they wanted to watch Doctor Who. Or, if they were abroad, they were keen that they would've been able to watch it if they were in the right country. Or something. Possibly it involves something illegal which I've never heard of such as torrenting. 5.29 Well the coverage has started. Hold on to something guys 5.32 Is there any website where one can monitor the game? I know espn provides second by second update for U.S. sports on their website.
